There's a strange thing going on in burger land: a scramble to the top - not in quality, necessarily - but in price.
There are dozens of infamously expensive burgers out there, like the $5,000 FleurBurger at Fleur in Las Vegas' Mandalay Bar or the comparatively reasonable $43 20-ounce Kobe Burger at Old Homestead Steakhouse in New York City.
But what about every day burgers you can order online and have delivered to you by the time you're done reading this story?
We track online menu prices for 159 restaurant chains, and since we have burger on the brain, we dug into the data, filtered for items that were labeled as "burger", and then sorted by price.
So with that, here are the most expensive burgers you can order online right now.

Keep in mind that these are average prices. In other words, some Planet Hollywood locations charge more - or less - for the BBQ Bacon Burger. The lowest it costs is $17.99 and it tops out at $18.99.
The Counter's Impossible Burger, however, can be had for as much as $22 for the 1-lb version, and that's before you add toppings at about $1.50 each. Be warned, though: The Impossible Burger contains no meat.
