Sony's ($SNE) PlayStation 4 exclusive hit videogame Marvel's Spider-Man graced the top-10 Best Buy sales ranks for all of September at spot 10.
It's rare to see videogames in the top-10 sales ranks for all products at Best Buy, but this game, developed by studio Insomniac Games and published by Sony, reportedly sold more copies in its first week than any other game in 2018. It was also the fastest-selling videogame based on Spider-Man, according to those same reports.
This is especially impressive given that the game hit retail shelves one week into the month and competed with virtually all other products that Best Buy sells, including computers, audio gear, and even cables.
Speaking of cables, Apple's Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Adapter continues to sell extremely well, and was the fourth best-ranking individual item sold at Best Buy in September, just as it was in August.
The dongle has been a consistent best-seller for Apple for well over a year, and September is no different than previous months. And, good news for Apple: it will likely continue to sell well — or better — given the fact that Apple's latest iPhones no longer come with the adapter.

Amazon's Fire TV Stick continues to be a number-one at Best Buy, with it being at the top spot month-over-month since the start of 2018. Meanwhile, Apple's wireless AirPods earphones continued to move, as did Microsoft's Office 365 and Best Buy's own tech support membership subscription.
Another notable entry to the top-20 for September was the Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch laptop, which, at $309 on sale, was likely an inexpensive back-to-school favorite.
