For the past three years, we have seen Apple ($AAPL) hire dozens of Campus Representatives — undergraduate or graduate students who promote its products — through its official job listings page in a distinct pattern. And, because we've seen this pattern develop, we're telling all students that, if they want to rep Apple next year, they better apply now.

Offered to a select number of universities across America, Apple Campus Representatives spread the word about Apple products on their respective campuses. The job description includes presenting to various organizations on campus and giving tech demos, with the whole position having a general focus on education use cases.

Over time, we've seen Apple hire for dozens of these positions starting in February throughout March. By the end of March and the beginning of April — two months out from Apple's required training session in Cupertino — the company takes down these postings, as they are assumed to be filled.

Finding trends in job openings helps us see what companies are hiring for — or if they are hiring at all — throughout the year. Although Campus Representative jobs might not mean anything on its own to the average investor, keeping these hires in mind while looking at Apple's overall hiring trends should definitely be considered. And, to those with kids or know of college students who want to work with Apple, knowing this trend ahead of time can help prepare them for this year, the next, or in the future when they want to apply.

With that said, here is the full list of Campus Representative jobs our database covered as of March 19:
