When it comes to signing into our favorite apps, the ease of using a Facebook login makes the social network by far the most popular Single-Sign-On service. And since we track Facebook logins at Thinknum, we’re able to get a very clear picture of exactly which apps we’re spending the most time using, whether we’re killing time gaming, swiping for love or buying and selling and trading our stuff.

So with that, here are the top 20 apps people logged into with Facebook in May, along with their daily usage ranks throughout the month:

1. Candy Crush Saga

When it comes to online games, Candy Crush is still the undisputed king of wasted time. Originally released in 2012, the colorful smartphone-based time suck has been downloaded almost 3 billions times, has racked up 1.1 TRILLION rounds of play, and accounts for 71,000 miles of swipes, and is the most downloaded app in history. This month, it moved up two spots in the rankings from third overall last month to claim first place this month. As a category, games account for a plurality of the top 20 spots, with Candy Crush Soda Saga sitting in fourth place, Farm Heroes Saga in seventh place, and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, Pet Rescue Saga, Words with Friends and Farmvill 2 in 9th, 11th, 16th and 19th places respectively.

2. Tinder

When we’re not gaming, we’re working on our game. The ever-popular dating app Tinder moves up to the second step on the podium in May. This shouldn’t be surprising - Tinder counts an average of 1.6 BILLION swipes per day (https://www.gotinder.com/press), and says it’s made 20 billion matches so far, adding up to an average of a million awkward first dates a week. Bumble, another popular smartphone-based dating app, also gained some popularity in May, moving up to 13th place from 17th place in April.

3. Spotify

Streaming music service Spotify slipped down one spot, ranking third overall in May. The service, which boasts about 75 million paying subscribers, accounts for almost 40% of all paid streaming subscribers globally.

4. Candy Crush Soda Saga slipped into fourth place in May. The Candy Crush Saga sequel was launched in 2014.

5. Visual discovery site and perennial favorite Pinterest rounds out the top five sites in May, after slipping from the top spot in April. The image-driven social network site, which launched in 2010, now boasts more than 175 million monthly users, according to company statements.

Also notable among the most popular apps in May are several peer-to-peer classified apps. Similar to Craigslist, but with more sophisticated interfaces, apps such as Wish, LetGo, Offer Up and OLX all made the top-twenty list.

Gone from the top 20 this month are Yelp and Trip Advisor, two previously very popular apps through Facebook logins. As we reported earlier this week, rankings for both apps plummeted after Facebook changed their data collection policies in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica news and scandal. Whether this recent drop is directly the result of Facebook policy changes remains to be seen.
